The Ignite Programme provides opportunities for both your students and teachers to gain from the huge pool of benefits boxing, and the Programme will offer them. The Programme has been formulated using over a decade's experience within boxing and school sport delivery.Ā
Each lesson is built around learning outcomes to ensure it provides building blocks for technical, physical and psychological stimulants. It offersĀ your students to build better relationships with each other and teachers by exploring the lesser-known challenges of the sport, Igniting confidence within them, pushing potential and building memories to last.
What's included?
Ā All of our programmes share the core learning resources provided for the delivery. Here's what to expect from all packages;
- A structured chain of lesson plans, built for one lesson to roll into the next.
- 24 lesson plans with learning outcomes and differentiations for progression and regressions included.
- 'Introduction to boxing' booklet, providing the teachers with a "how to" instruction manual for each punch, footwork and defensive moves. (Explained for those who have never boxed before for clear and easy understanding).
- Technique instruction videos available for further understanding of the introduction to boxing booklet.
- A booklet of conditioned games that are used in each lesson to maintain engagement and provide fun, whilst learning the new skills.
- On-going support from the boxing coaches at Stargate, using Whatsapp or email. This allows further questions and lessons. (Foundation & Premium Packages Only*)
